The health, safety, and well-being of everyone and their families are always our primary concern. Due to the COVID-19 Virus outbreak, we will use caution, and safety measures will be implemented in an attempt to protect our members and adhere to Federal, State, and Local mandates.
The lobby at the Union Hall and Apprenticeship will remain open for business, until further notice. Staff will remain on site to service everyone. Please understand that our call volume will increase, and it may impact waiting times. Rest assured that we will answer every call and respond as quickly as possible. At this time, we will not be conducting in-person training at the Apprenticeship.
As we navigate this situation and circumstances change with further governmental requirements and recommendations, we will post updates on our IUOE Local 450 Facebook page and Local 450 website. We will also communicate information through our text messaging system.
Although this situation is going to temporarily alter the way we conduct day-to-day business, one thing that will never change is the commitment of Local 450 officers and staff. We will all get through this together, like we’ve always done. Please don’t hesitate to call if there are any questions or concerns.
Mark Maher, Jr.
IUOE Local 450 Business Manager
Welcome to the IUOE Local 450 website!
Thanks for visiting and we encourage you to take some time to explore our improved website. Our local union has made great strides in the last few years to deliver dedicated and professional representation to our membership, as well as to generally elevate our trade throughout our territorial jurisdiction. We are excited about the many improvements, changes and new direction in which our membership is taking this local union. Each day, we are forging new relationships with employers and delivering quality, efficiency and professionalism to our current signatory contractors, which increases the opportunities for our growing membership.
In addition to our new state of the art apprenticeship & training center, administration building and meeting facilities, we intend for this website to be useful to our membership, contractors looking for our services and those wishing to learn more about our organization. It has been recently updated with several additions and changes. Please review each tab to learn more about Local 450, and as always, you are welcome to visit our offices or give us a call with any questions.
